You set the agenda.
Our unconference is our big annual event, held at the start of the summer! Unconferences are a format commonly used in the web sector – interactive, flexible events where the participants are the driving force, facilitating inspiration and dialogue rather than stuffy bullet-point presentations.
Attendees are able to submit ideas for sessions in advance of the day and create the agenda live on the day. During the event, sessions can be added or modified, responding to the needs of its participants in real time.
The event is a mixture of inspirational talks, presentations, practical sessions, showcasing of creative work, and open design sessions for creatives to come together and work on ideas collaboratively.
RewireLondon kicked off with our 2010 event in June. Read more about it here.
What happens afterwards?
The excitement and content of the day is captured using social media, video, podcasts and photographs to create an online space for remote participants to interact and will provide a rich portfolio of content for future downloading.
Throughout the year, RewireLondon continues to build a strong community of like-minded creatives, using online tools and real-world meet-ups, to encourage conversations until the next event.
