With less than a week left for RewireLondon we are getting very excited about the day of the event and what we will be doing at the co-creation area.
A lot of people have asked us about what will happen at Mini-bar One and we thought the best way to explain it is to write a short post about it. The area will be hosted by Harry and Elena from minimoko and we asked Harry to tell us about his plans for the area:
[Guest post from Harry Mylonadis, Creative Thinker at minimoko}
Hi, I’m Harry Mylonadis, Creative Thinker at minimoko. minimoko is the design and innovation studio that loves simplicity. We see design as a way to solve problems in everyday life.
During registration attendees will be asked to write a problem that needs to be solved and put it in a box. At the end of the introduction, 5 problems will be picked from the box and we will announce their allocated slot, tackling 3 problems in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.
We will apply design principles in order to solve each problem creatively. What this means is that after we announce the problem to be solved, we will first discuss the problem in order to get an understanding of its causes. Depending on the problem that we need to solve, we will do brainstorming, mind-mapping, prototyping and maybe even role playing. We will be there to help and contribute but the problem will be solved by the entire group. So there won’t be any “leaders” muting voices and ideas. This will help us explore different perspectives and come up with creative ways to solve the problem.
Thanks Harry! We can’t wait to see what happens on the day.
